About Newmont Corporation

Newmont is the world's largest gold miner. It acquired Goldcorp in 2019, formed a Nevada mining joint venture with Barrick that same year, and bought Newcrest in November 2023. Its portfolio spans 11 mines plus interests in two joint ventures across the Americas, Africa, Australia, and Papua New Guinea, and it is expected to sell roughly 5.3 million ounces of gold in 2026 from continuing mines after divesting six higher-cost, smaller mines acquired with Newcrest.
