What your visitors see
- The MBS proxy. The price of the iShares MBS ETF (MBB), which moves with UMBS prices, with its change since the last session.
- The 30-session trend. A small line of the last 30 closes, colored by momentum.
- The 10-Year and the rate environment. The 10-Year Treasury yield, its move in basis points, and whether rates are trending higher, lower or holding steady.
- A way to read more. A link to the full MBS page, where borrowers and loan officers can try Lock Radar's alerts.
Good to know
- It is a proxy, not the live price of a specific UMBS coupon. Use it for direction, and your pricing engine for the exact coupon.
- It is general market commentary, the same read as our public MBS page, not advice for any particular loan.
- It sets no cookies and runs no analytics on your site.
- Please keep the credit line under the widget. It is how the widget stays free.

Is the MBS widget free?
Yes. The widget is free to embed on any website, with no account and no fee. We ask only that you keep the credit line under it, which links back to the full MBS page.
How often does the widget update?
The MBS proxy and the 10-Year refresh through the trading day, and the widget is rebuilt from that data about every 15 minutes. After the close it shows the latest session until the next one opens.
What number does the widget show?
The price of the iShares MBS ETF (MBB), a fund that holds agency mortgage-backed securities and moves with UMBS prices. It shows the direction of the MBS market, not the live price of a specific coupon on your rate sheet, and the widget says so.
Will it work on my website?
It works anywhere you can paste HTML, such as a WordPress Custom HTML block or any page builder block for embedded code. It fits columns from 300 to 520 pixels wide at a fixed height of 330 pixels.
Does the widget track my visitors?
No. The widget sets no cookies and runs no analytics on your site. A visitor who clicks through to Market Eyes Live is counted on our site, like any other visit.
Can I put it in an email newsletter?
Email clients do not run embedded frames, so the widget will not show in an email. Link to marketeyeslive.com/rates/mbs instead; the page carries the same read.
