API Terms of Use

Applies to the free public MCP server at marketeyeslive.com/mcp and to the read-only public feeds linked from it, currently the validation record at /api/validation-status. Last updated 15 August 2026.

The short version. The data is yours to use, including commercially. Attribute us. Do not present it as financial advice, because it is not. We do not guarantee it is correct, and you should not build anything where being wrong is catastrophic without checking it yourself.

1. What you may do

Subject to these terms, you may connect to the MCP server, and use, process and display the values it returns, including in a commercial product. You may cache results. You may show them to your own users.

There is no API key, no signup and no paid licence. Access is open and rate-limited, and the limits below apply to everyone on the same terms.

2. Attribution

Where you display our values, ratings or scores to another person, credit Market Eyes Live and, where the format reasonably allows, link to the relevant page on marketeyeslive.com. If an AI agent relays a rating to a user, the same applies to the answer it produces.

Attribution is the price of the free tier, and it is the only thing we ask in return.

3. What the data is, and what it is not

4. Not financial advice

Market Eyes Live is a research tool. Nothing returned by the MCP server or the public feeds is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and nothing in it is personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Ratings are data-driven estimates of conviction. Markets carry risk, and past testing does not guarantee future results.

If you build a product on this data, you are responsible for how it is presented to your users, and for any regulatory obligations that apply to you.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We make no promise that any value is correct, current, or free from error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Market Eyes Live is not liable for any loss or damage, including trading losses, arising from your use of or reliance on this data.

6. Fair use and rate limits

Limits are enforced per calling address and again across all callers together, so you can be limited by the shared cap while still under your own. The current limits are 240 calls per hour per address and 6,000 per hour across all callers; for a ticker outside the daily-refreshed set, which is scored live on request, 20 per hour per address and 300 per hour across all callers. A live score may be reused for 12 hours. These are the limits in force on the date at the top of this page and may change in either direction; the MCP server page is the reference for the current numbers.

Do not attempt to evade the limits by rotating addresses. Do not use the service in a way that degrades it for others.

We may change the limits or withdraw access where use is abusive, unlawful, or threatens the stability of the service. Where we can give notice, we will.

7. What you may not do

8. Logs and caller addresses

We log requests to operate and protect the service and to understand usage. Your calling address is used to enforce the rate limits above and appears only in short-lived operational state that is retained briefly and is not kept as a record; the usage counters and recent-activity log we retain store a salted hash of the address instead, which tells one caller from another without identifying either. See the privacy policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
